Mutual Blessing in the Body of Christ

Updated: May 8, 2019

Western Wall in Israel

I will help you fulfill the mission that God has given you, and you will help me accomplish the mission that God has given me. Mutual Blessing is Biblical!

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 says, "Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor. 10 For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up. 11 Furthermore, if two lie down together they keep warm, but how can one be warm alone? 12 And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart." (NASB)

I started Practical Theological Seminary to prepare men and women for ministry. This two-year program is not only about the information found in the curriculum. My goal is for our students to spend two years seeking the Lord, diligently studying the Bible, and walking alongside other men and women who are all seeking the same. I want you to know God's plan for your life. I want you to accomplish everything God has put in your heart. And I want you to help me accomplish these same things in my own life and ministry.

I will help you, and you will help me. In 2014, I heard two pastors speak at a conference. These men were explaining how God had used them in America to be on mission in another country for over thirty years. They focused their international mission work on one specific country for thirty years and truly made a Kingdom impact there. I remember praying, "Lord, give me a country. Give me a people that I can devote the rest of my life to impact." My next thoughts ran to all the really difficult and super cold countries in the world that I thought God might send me to in exile. Then, a picture of a country came flooding in that caused me to immediately think, "No way, Lord. You would not send me there. I love that country. I love those people." I soon realized that God was saying "Yes." For the past five years, I have been seeking the Lord and visiting that country. I believe God has called me to do my part to impact that nation for Christ.

The money that is received through Practical Theological Seminary will be used for ministry. I already receive a paycheck from my church. I did not start this seminary to line my pockets. I started it to fund ministry in the international country God has given me. I will help you accomplish all that God is calling you to do. All I ask in return is for you to help me accomplish what God is calling me to do. Let's mutually bless one another. I cannot wait to see all that God does in our lives and ministry.
